It's not a lot of work because everyone lends a hand and it's a great
opportunity to visit with all your friends. MBBC thrives on volunteers, without whom we
would be no different than a marina.
The Club house, built in 1978, has showers, lockers and meeting areas.
The work dock has a 2 ton hoist (great for J-24's and Lightnings) and a pump out.
MBBC uses Flying Juniors as the primary training boat for Junior Sailors
Our leader, Jon Aswad, Master MBBC.
Ken Wolvington (Master 1979-80) is the unofficial MBBC historian.
Mary Hooper is the Corrections Cup perennial favorite! Her J-24 "C Jam
Blues" has captured the Cup 3 out of the last 4 years.
MBBC prides itself in being a membership governed and maintained club.
It's a great place to be, even if all you do is sit on lawn and enjoy the view.
We keep the cost of membership low by sharing all the club chores.
Is Todd Cox smiling because:
(a.) He's getting his picture taken or
(b.) because he's got the best PHRF ratting in the club?
Jim Finch races his Wave Length 24 "Toads Wild Ride" in class C. It's
the boat to beat.
