6:10 PM: Meeting called to order
1. The clubs named the following people to represent them at LC-PHRF meetings during 2010:
LCYC: Walt Marti, John O'Rourke, Tony Lamb
MBBC: Rod Carr, Geoff Halsted, Alan Ouellette
VSC: Chris Duley, Brian Dowling, Kjell Dahlen
RSYC: Adam Dantzscher
2. The following was proposed to be added immediately after our current Adjustment Schedule for "Head Sails (LP Adjustment)":
However, when the Class Rules for a boat call for a jib/genoa up to 110% to be used and the boat is configured differently, LC-PHRF may be guided by the following Adjustment Schedule when rating that boat:
Class Jib/Genoa: 0 Seconds (Base Rating)
Larger than Class Jib/Genoa up to 135%: -3 Seconds
135.1 - 155%: -6 Seconds
Discussion followed. A vote was held and the result was 8-0 that this should be added.
3. Revisions to our current PHRF Rating Review Request form were discussed. It was agreed that more changes should be made to the form.
4. It was proposed that Key West Race Week should be added to our current list of organizations that we may look at when rating a boat. Discussion followed. A vote was held and the result was 8-0 that this should be added.
5. The following Officers of LC-PHRF were elected to serve for 2010:
Chairman: Walt Marti
Vice Chairman: Adam Dantzscher
Secretary: Rod Carr
