“Skippers are encouraged to race with the minimal number of crew that they can safely race with.”
This is a low pressure Pursuit Race in honor of the memory of Jim Finch. The boat must be helmed by a woman or junior sailor. An open regatta, raced using no spinnakers or bloopers. Any PHRF boat is eligible. Non-club sailors are welcome to participate. The course starts just beyond the mooring field and goes to Niquette Bay, around beer can island and back to the start, but as always is subject to change at the discretion of the RC depending on weather.
To sign up, send an email to jeffallen1@comcast.net between now and 1130 Sunday. You will be assigned a start time in 'minutes after the start of the race' based on your boat's phrf.
