Responsible for the safety, maintenance and management of the MBBC mooring area. It is a service-based group that assigns member moorings, inspects moorings for condition and proper configuration, remediates deficiencies, plans life-cycle replacements and upgrades and provides other services to members. Even though this committee only maintains mooring components at and below the water line; it has the authority to regulate mooring components from the bottom anchor to the boat cleat or eye. The Committee assigns moorings based on the LOA and displacement of the vessel. |
